In parallel with contemporary developments, Istanbul Technical University with its restructuring, physical infrastructure, research and as well as the rapid renovation work training equipment, built Suleyman Demirel Cultural Center to organize important congresses, conferences, seminars, organizations, various cultural and artistic activities at the university.
Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center is located on the campus at ITU Maslak. It places in Büyükdere Street and has good location and transportation with its proximity to Istinye.
Süleyman Demirel Cultural Center is designed with easily readable and understandable construction and it is built in the form of “interior street-site” in order to make urban outside sites place in the building of Cultural Center. Indoor spaces are connected to triple decker building based common site. “Prestige and benchmark building” values are supposed to be emphasized.
