GRUBBSTROMRobert W. GRUBBSTRÖM has been Professor of Production Economics at Linköping Institute of Technology, Sweden, since 1972, and is now Emeritus Professor. He is Licentiate of Technology and Doctor of Economics, and has received honorary doctoral degrees from Lappeenranta University of Technology, Finland, Corvinus University, Budapest, Hungary, and Leopold-Franzens-Universität, Innsbruck, Austria. He has Master’s degrees from the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, and the Stockholm School of Economics. He is currently President of the Senate and Dean of the Faculty, Mediterranean Institute for Advanced Studies, Šempeter pri Gorici, Slovenia. Among the recognitions awarded him are Knight (First Class) of the Order of the White Rose of Finland, Commander of the Order of the Lion of Finland, Award of Recognition for Outstanding Contributions to the Development of the Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, (where he also is Honorary Visiting Professor) and Honorary Corporal, Kungl. Svea Trängregemente, Sweden. He is Honorary Research Fellow, Lancaster University, Honorary Professor, University of Nottingham Business School, United Kingdom, and Honorary President of the Economic Club of Linköping. He is Past President and Fellow of the International Society for Inventory Research (ISIR) and Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering Sciences. He is Co-Founder and Honorary Council Member of Young Enterprise Sweden, currently educating per annum some 26,000 Swedish youths in the rȏle that entrepreneurship plays in contemporary society.He is Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Production Economics (Elsevier) and is author/co-author/editor of some 15 books and has written about 300 articles and working papers, including publications in the International Journal of Production Economics, Management Science, The Mathematical Scientist, International Journal of Production Research, Journal of Cybernetics, European Journal of Operational Research, Managerial and Decision Economics, Kybernetes, Omega, Economic Systems Research, Applied Energy, Annual Reviews in Control, and International Journal of Energy Optimization and Engineering.

Burak AYDIN

Intel Turkey General Manager
BURAKAYDINBurak AYDIN was born in Ankara in 1975. He has a Mechanical Engineering degree from Middle East Technical University followed by an MBA degree. Burak worked for Siemens Business Systems as a Strategic Planning Manager and as a consultant at Andersen Consulting/Accenture in Germany and Austria prior to his work in Intel. Burak Aydın joined Intel as the education and SMB Business Development Manager in Turkey in 2006 and went on Business Development Group Manager Role for Turkey since 2008. He has contributed to Intel Turkey with creating/leading innovative, transformational programs like Education 2.0 and SMB Reseller Transformation Program. Beside his Turkey responsibilities, he also contributed META Strategic Long Range Planning and META Business Plan Initiatives. He took Intel Turkey General Manager Position to be effective from July 2011. He is a board member of TUBISAD (Information Industry Association). He is a member of YASED and TUSIAD and he is currently running the STEM working group within TUSIAD.

ALIRIZAERSOYAli Rıza ERSOY has held the position of Director of the departments of Healthcare, Human Resources, IT Solutions and Services, Corporate Technologies, Supply Chain Management, Cities and Industry within Siemens Turkey and, of General Manager of the company “Siemens Business Solutions”; during a period of 30 years. He currently holds the position of Executive Committee Member, Deputy General Manager, and Digital Factory Country Division Lead. He was born in 1957, Koçarlı / Aydın, graduated from Tarsus American College, Faculty of Electronics and Communication, Istanbul Technical University and Department of Applied Electronics, Vienna University of Technology. He has worked at the same time as research assistant in the same department for 5 years. He is the founding chairman of the Ethics and Reputation Society and, previously was or currently is a member of the following NGOs: Culinary Fellows, Futurists, Wheat, AlumniTurk, Propeller, Rotary, Slow Food, Science Centers, Turkey Informatics, Personnel Management, Medical Imaging, Informatics Industrialists, Software Industrialists, Angel Investors, SEV, German-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry, International Coaching Federation, Management Consulting.

Cenk KIVILCIM

Cisco Turkey General Manager
Cenk-Kıvılcım-jpegCenk Kıvılcım is the General Manager of Cisco in Turkey. Cenk joined Cisco from Alcatel Lucent where his most recent role was Chairman of ALU Teletas and Cluster Leader of both Turkey and Azerbaijan. Cenk is a seasoned Information Technology (IT) industry veteran having started at Siemens. He spent over 15 years at ALU holding various leadership positions, including Managing Director and Country Senior Officer for Nigeria and Ghana, Director Carrier Sales for Southern Africa, Indian Ocean and East Africa, as well as Director Export, Access and Data, Europe and South. Furthermore, he is a board member of a number of influential industry bodies amongst them, the Turkish Industry and Business Association (TÜSİAD) , Turkey Industry and Business Association for Communication (TUBISAD) and Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV). He is also member of the Istanbul Technical University Alumni Society, the Besiktas (BJK) Club and American Chamber of Commerce in Turkey. Cenk Kıvılcım, graduated from Electronics and Communications Engineering, Istanbul Technical University in 1997 and completed the Marketing, Telecommunication Postgraduate program at INSEAD, France in 2002. He also hold a certificate from High Valued Managers Program at Manchester Business School, United Kingdom in 2006. Cenk holds a BSc Honours degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Outside of work, Cenk enjoys swimming, reading, playing basketball and golf as well as windsurfing. Kıvılcım, speaks English and Dutch, is married and has two children.
